And we also need to repeal all the laws that make it much harder for someone to get onto the ballot without the sanction of one of two major parties.
To form a new party in Ohio, they'd need to submit over 41,000 signatures supporting the new party.
To run as an independent, a candidate has to submit at least 5 times or up to 60 times, depending on office, the number of signatures as a major party candidate does.

I wonder if even this is something we'll be going back on. It's in living memory that people *were* forced to use their right hands for everything, usually by corporal punishment as well as ostracization. With the range of "acceptable" bodies reverting to white, male and abled, I wouldn't be surprised to find right-handedness on the list sooner than later.

Water storage and purification ... and a camp toilet and kitty litter that lets you dispose of everything as solid waste. When the grid goes down, so do the sewage pump stations, and you won't want to waste water on flushing anyway.

That's a circular definition. The circumstances under which murder can be prosecuted as a federal crime are pretty limited, and don't include this.
Under New York state law, a CEO of a health insurance company has committed second degree murder - probably tens of thousands of counts.

As pointed out below, a majority of Ohioans are "something else," just because of the way our system works. Technically we have Schrödinger's party affiliation: a voter is a member of EVERY political party until they choose one by voting in a primary (and the affiliation only lasts two years). Because most people don't vote in primaries, most Ohio voters are Unaffiliated, even though most of those have strong partisan leanings.

I think Kim Stanley Robinson had it right in "The Ministry for the Future." If I'm remembering right, his number is bigger than anything in your poll. It's hands down the most *hopeful* climate fiction I've read - because it posits that there is such a number, at all.
