There’s quite a few of these alternative social media platforms being advertised on mainstream social media, ironically. This one reminded me of Nostr a little.

It’s clear that the public wants to break free from social media and move onto something without an algorithm that’s not feeding you propaganda constantly. It’s interesting to see how they’re pushing the “verifiable” claims though, whatever that means.

I’m not in the slightest part interested in their platform but I think it serves as an important reminder that Nostr could work for the general public and they ARE interested, we just need to streamline the user experience a little to remove the barrier to entry and then shout about it.
