Some of the sudden deaths that have occurred is that covid is causing heart failure. Why would that be surprising, seeing that this virus attacks blood vessels?

I've been made to feel guilty about my anger over my doctor, who keeps telling me to come in person for prescription refills. It's dumb to bring people into a doctor's office who are healthy and then infect them with the virus just so they can check off a box. I feel this is against my rights.😞

I have no income, just got my funds last week, but I've been 5 years without an income. If it weren't for my partner, I wouldn't have enough to live on. My partner had a good income, so I'm lucky for the moment.
I want to be isolated because my health is more important than my relationships, even with the family I have left and there aren't many.
I am isolating even more now because of other people's behavior, plus this far-right extremism. I've always been a person who is comfortable in their own skin. I don't need others. I'm very busy with my writing and artwork and I have outdoor activities. I don't go to socials. Never really liked them anyway.

My pickleball friend has never been vaccinated, and she's over 65. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Also, there were a couple of others there who don't believe COVID is anything to worry about.

People are starting to ask me questions of why I keep disappearing for a while. Last summer I stopped going to pickleball because people were showing up coughing during the summer surge. Never went back until late spring and now I have to do it again. Yes, you can get it outside if people are clustering.
There are no safe spaces or activities anymore. If only people stayed home when they were sick. 😩

Somebody just posted an article that says 'Running is bad for your knees." It's not. Many other sports are worse for you. Running is priceless for heart health. A slow pace is good and you need several days' rest after. In my running days, we'd run every day, and that was bad. Too many people are passing around that bit of disinformation. 🙄 It's people who lack proper training information. Being over weight can give you bad knees.
If you have bad knees to begin with, then it might aggravate something you already have. But studies have proven that people who run have better knees than those who don't exercise at all. It's important to have proper arch support. Lack of arch support leads to misalignment in the hips and knees.
Read: Older, Faster, Stronger by Margaret Webb. It's based on science and long-term studies. It's not just for runners.

The problem is kids are spreading it in schools and the workers are allowed to come to work sick. The first step is to stop spreading it in schools; if not, then they should be shut down.

Last summer had the most covid cases on record for the whole pandemic. Anyone who thinks they had a cold last summer is mostly wrong. I even checked the wastewater for all viruses, and there was nothing like that going around at the time.
I corrected somebody today about that. A lady was saying somebody she knew got a cold last summer and ended up with pneumonia. I said, "You mean covid?" No," she said adamantly. 🙄

Give him a chance. We aren't in normal times here. He wants to capitalize on the US going down. Why shouldn't we all want this? We don't have enough scientists and medical workers. Time to change that.

It's not that I'm "afraid" of covid, i just don't want to lose my ability to do the things that mean the most to me. Fitness and sports are important to my lifestyle, and I know too many people that can't do anything at all anymore, and were previously healthy.
The losses I've suffered in the last ten years are bad enough without adding LC to them. All I have left is my health.

I know. It's terrible what's being done. I never thought I'd ever live to see a thing like this. Schools are the biggest spread too.
It also seems that nobody wants open windows anywhere either. It does cost a lot of money to improve air quality but care homes can and should replace their windows so that they open.
Japan is the only country that does this.

As most of you know by now, covid crosses the blood-brain barrier. This means that it permeates the membrane that is supposed to protect your brain. Most viruses don't do this. No cold or flu does this. I boosted a post last night that said that one in 4 people in Britain now have long covid. Much of it is cognitive dysfunction or other neurological conditions.
It's almost criminal that governments and medical people aren't telling the public this.
