I’m trying to separate the help they need from their ignorance, it’s not my place to judge who is “worthy”. Nerves can make people say stupid things.

Today our ABC published images of prisoners being exhibited by guards.
Prisoners from the US, deported without trial, being manhandled by hooded guards in El Salvador.
Without mentioning the barbarity of this display of humans, our ABC became part of the crime by spreading the images.
Our once great institution has become weak, shameful, unable to assess the standards of journalism we once took for granted.

I’m teaching myself how to cook again, adapting to low vision.
A combination of shortcuts, patience, and cooking stuff you’d teach to children. In this case, frozen diced onion, steaming potato in the microwave and buying grated cheese. And placing the oven dish on a tray, safer to handle.

Sartorially? Flawless.
Gradually coming good, but it’s so very slow. I can eat broccoli now, without it smelling weird. And a bunch of other things, but both smell and taste are quite diminished. I’d be happy to eat nothing but eggs and chips every day, but I’m making myself eat a bit of everything, trying to restore memory or whatever it is.
