Usually I'm the only person in my home who drinks kefir. So I split a liter-sized bottle of kefir into 10 equal parts. Thanks to that, I don't have to recompute insulin every time, and these portions fit my meals well.
Of course, sometimes somebody else decides to take a random part of my kefir, and break my system. Eventually, I end up with partial portion at the bottom of the bottle, and need to combine it with a new bottle. And then I try to minimally adjust the parts to even it out again.
Sometimes I even manage to do that before they break it again.
