1) (Some) Israeli citizens caught sanctions from various Western nations, which is infinitely more than anyone here expected.
2) Navalny died under extremely poor conditions in prison, which I'm counting.
3) Haiti became relevant for collapsing, which counts due to popular vote here (7 Yay, 1 Nay)
4) Gorf is obviously a new grift for the sake of gathering a bunch of right wing people and getting dox on them.
5) Border riot on March 21st in El Paso by Mexicans.
6) Trump being labeled a convicted felon is open rigging. I hadn't expected to check this off before November, but it's OK.
7) The Biden administration is refusing to release audio recordings over concerns posed by generative AI - there's no doubt that this is bad enough that it would be a scandal, it's a clean hit.
8) Trump's attempted assassination was an inside job. It was used to attempt to jockey for a war with Iran - which hasn't panned out. It killed a US civilian.
9) A quick glance at Bitcoin's value this year shows a giant bubble - a boom and a collapse.
10) China's economy has taken enough hits that a number of experts are calling it a "collapse." I had planned on putting this one to a vote at year's end, but as much as China's economy can "collapse" it is doing so.
