my circadian rhythm is pushed pretty late at the moment, but I've been considering trying to switch to monk schedule... right now I'm more likely to see the sunrise because I'm still awake.

my cycle is constrained by the fact that the only time I can have any solitude, ever, is when my housemates are asleep, so I have to be up late or up early in order to meet even a small fraction of my need to not be "on," and biologically speaking I'm an extreme night owl - though I learned (after 20 painful years battling so-called 'delayed sleep phase') that I can control it fairly well with melatonin, light exposure, and avoiding alcohol & opioids.
