I fear that it will go the same as in the Netherlands where one fascist party, PVV, became the biggest in November 2023, after which till now it escalated in two parties swinging towards extreme-right (VVD and BBB) while two other fascist parties (Ja21 and FvD) did pretty well. Ja21 went from 1 to 9 seats in the October 2025 elections. PVV, a non democratic one man show "party", had almost 1 point 7 million people voting for its leader, the paranoid and xenophobic and islam-hater Geert Wilders.
But not only that, mainstream media and Dutch TV is full of fear for anything that sounds left or progressive, and it just continues with its self censuring attitude.
Lobby group appear to be strong and influential.
It is painful and stressful experience to me that fascism has been normalized in NL.

For the UK I hope that Zack Polanski will make a difference with the Green Party of UK and Wales but I fear that lobby groups and the "sort of deep state" will make an attempt to have the UK stick to its conservative, pro-capitalism, pro-Israel and maybe even pro-USA stance.
