"Sanctify them through truth" – Set apart FOR something. Not just FROM something. The church preached the FROM. They hid the FOR.
"Thy word is truth" – Not a book. A living voice. The religious leaders had the same scrolls and killed Him. Words without the Word is control.
You are not of this system. You never were.
That is not your failure. That is your sanctification.
