It’s one of those things that I fear makes you look unsophisticated to admit, but I don’t really care for performance art. Doesn’t matter whether it’s Andy Kaufman or a banana duct taped to a wall. Really?
I think people need to push the envelope, but the line is there for a reason and often, the vanguard is WAY over the line. I get it. I’ll go the matt to defend their right to do so, but the pile of dirty rope in the museum is not anything I’m interested in seeing.
