"content": "VERY excited to perform my first real gardening task of 2026: germinating native perennial seeds!\n\nThis is only my second year starting seeds. Last year I did vegetables (and will do again!), and I wanted to add some perennials to my seed starting setup this year. \n\nThese seeds require 60 days of cold, moist germination. After the steps in the photos, they went into the refrigerator!\n\nWould be thrilled to get any advice from veterans/people who are slightly less new to this!\n\n#gardening\nhttps://cdn.masto.host/iowaxandleathercom/media_attachments/files/115/973/954/750/667/730/original/72275648f81c15d1.jpeg\nhttps://cdn.masto.host/iowaxandleathercom/media_attachments/files/115/973/954/755/622/497/original/5e0f74306fd79dc0.jpeg\n",
