I read some reviews praising “Platonic”, and tried watching a few episodes, but it’s not my thing. But I got as far as episode 5, where Seth Rogen’s craft-beer-blah character who knows as much about physics as I do about craft beer is inexplicably wearing a T-shirt of the cover of Peskin and Schroeder’s “An Introduction to Quantum Field Theory”.
Is that really a thing, or was the costume designer just playing a strange joke? No such T-shirt showed up when I googled. Do people who actually study QFT wear Peskin and Schroeder T-shirts?
