Well... after weeks of meetings, hearings, paperwork and enough HR vocabulary to last a lifetime, I finally got the official letter today.
Didn't get the ending I was hoping for.

But honestly? I'm weirdly at peace with it.

I fought for myself. I stayed professional. I didn't burn bridges, even when I really wanted to occasionally launch a metaphorical chair across the room 😤

The funny part is that by simply not giving up, I actually managed to drag the process out long enough that they now have to keep paying me longer than originally planned. Not exactly the victory I had in mind, but I'll take the side quest XP.

Best of all: I already signed a new contract. So instead of wondering "What now?", I'm mostly wondering where I packed a new set of guitar strings guitar 🎸

Sometimes you don't win the battle you wanted to win 💜
