Gold and tungsten have very different young moduli. Gold ~ 80, tungsten ~ 411, according to wikipedia.
Sooo, if you get the bars to vibrate, they should have wildly different resonance frequencies, with the tungsten filled bar singing a much higher pitch I'd assume.
Should be easy to tell them apart. I'd assume you wouldn't even need a pure gold bar as reference since the tungsten one would just sound completely unlike what a gold bar is supposed to sound like, dull.
