We are so exited to publish our new born track "I Can Still Smile" !!!!!!

This is the first track after not recording for more then 10 months....
The song came as all other songs out of the blue and has a country ish feel...not our usual but genres are just labels.....


For the past year and a half, I spent nearly one year abroad, away from my husband, working physically demanding temporary jobs in a country with much higher wages. It was irregular work — long hours, shared rooms with strangers and the expectation to always be available whenever they called. But it was my choice, a proactive step toward improving our situation and paying off debts.  

I intended to stay longer, but my body suddenly stopped cooperating. Almost overnight, my joints became painfully stiff from head to toe, making even basic movement difficult. I packed my belongings and booked the fastest and cheapest way home: an international bus journey across several countries. Even that became complicated. My first booking was cancelled because there was no space left for my luggage, costing me most of my remaining money. I waited a few more days, simply trying to rest.

After crossing three countries, I finally reached Portugal — almost home. Then, somehow, I boarded the wrong bus and stranded back across the border in northern Spain, where i was a few hours prior! It was Saturday night, a remote place, with almost no money left, no phone connection, and no clear way forward.

Just before the bus driver left, I managed to connect briefly to the bus Wi-Fi and send my GPS location to my husband. Then all buses disappeared, people left, and I sat there alone waiting.

Meanwhile, friends were waiting at the station more South where I should have arrived, ready to drive me back to our remote village..

When Hans explained what had happened to yet another neighbor and friend, “MatschMoon,” he immediately responded: “Give me ten minutes. I’ll pick you up and we’ll go get her.” What followed felt almost cinematic — a rescue through the dark night, guided by friendship, care, and trust.

Even though I never saw my decision to work abroad as running away or returning to some kind of “slave mode,” the money I earned genuinely helped us. Yet life clearly has other plans. The universe sent me home, and to this day my body still struggles with even the simplest daily tasks.

Yet, creating a new song wasn't hard at all, as we had withheld it all for quite some time and having such an experience..

One thing I do know for certain: I always accept the consequences of my choices fully — and I continue to meet life, no matter how difficult, with gratitude and a smile.
