Second residency is definitely not for rich only, I know a warehouse worker that got one for safety.
Physical gold should be geographically distributed and yes, you should start saving early and I would start with Bitcoin, not gold.
Also, tokenized gold is not the worst idea. I would still keep some physical gold. With tokenized, you lose trustlessness, but keep low price volatility and transportability.
