Discord stuff today bumming me out, even if the policy changes would largely not affect the places I hang out it's going to end up fragmenting people at best and collapsing servers at worst, all in the name of "safety" that is in service of no one unless the entire rest of the Internet follows suite.
Which of course it won't and any bad actors will work around this with minimal issue anyway. Seriously hope enough backlash kills this before it rolls out, even if that's just a temporary "fix" in the bigger picture.
