I'm astonished that some people genuinely believe Hegseth's claim that this issue is merely about press wearing badges and staying out of restricted Pentagon areas, rather than what it truly is: an attempt to threaten and intimidate journalists who publish information or use official sources not directly approved by the Department of Defense.
