Employers say we don't want to work, but dammit, it's hard when you WANT to work to get them to take you seriously in the states. Back to square 1: I have a job I like, but can't pay the bills with it. I wasn't on the schedule for this week & gonna call to see if it's an oopsie, but still need an extra job regardless. I have bills to pay, so if i have to get a full-time overnight job, I'll do it. And fast. Might take a few days to get used to, but I don't give a damn.
Went to 1 group interview today (at that same damned grocery store that never hires me. Dunno why). The other was for a seasonal position over the phone. I can't afford to wait for them to get back to me, so I applied to some other positions. I'm not asking for too much... just enough per hour to pay my bills & save up to do home & car improvements. An overnight stocking job at that store would be life-changing, but they've turned me down for 3 years now.
I'd die holding my breath, so not gonna bother.
