Sats should obviously be the scientific and engineering base unit for Bitcoin - similar to centimeters. But to make things easier for American Bitcoiners, we could also define a "Bitcoin Imperial System":
1 Bitcoin Inch = 2.54 sats
1 Bitcoin Foot = 12 Bitcoin Inches
1 Bitcoin Mile = 5,280 Bitcoin Inches
1 Bitcoin Gallon = 231 Bitcoin Inches³
We could even define a Bitcoin Pint as an arbitrary number of sats in every country.
