BIP110 didn’t blunder anything. It exposed the truth how far gone Bitcoin is. To me that is a win.
I’d caution against listening to anything Scamson Mao says this day. It’s obvious he either has an agenda or he’s among the compromised actors.
There was nothing rushed about this soft fork. Spam is a big problem and if that’s not urgent enough (took 3.5 years) for the community to fix, nothing “more” urgent will be as well.
