some kind of fact checking seems like the least you can do if you're getting to be a billionaire by running a service that uses algos to bombard users with whatever posts get the greatest emotional response, from people they don't follow while data mining them. if you're helping to spread any info, your moral responsibility is to try hard to ensure you're not misleading them, because bad info can lead people trying to do good to cause unnecessary harm in the world. who should be blamed for that?
