Russian law enforcement officers have searched a cryptocurrency exchange office in Moscow City, reportedly in connection with a 144 million ruble theft case. According to Bits.media, the raid targeted an office within the Federation Tower of the Moscow City business center. Police allege that the stolen funds were potentially funneled through the exchange, and are currently tracing transactions and investigating the involvement of office employees. Dozens of employees from the exchange network were detained during the operation. A Moscow court has imposed restrictive measures on eight individuals identified as suspects, while the legal status of other detainees remains unclear. The affected office has temporarily suspended operations.
