Road signs that say Elderly people, or Children, or Children at play. I wonder, is the implication that you are expected to be driving more dangerously elsewhere, and that’s okay?

Or adults who are not elderly can move more quickly out of the way of cars, so any accidents that happen are their fault?

Odd, that, about car culture. The natural way of travelling is in cars, and everything else must bow to their supremacy.

I was just out walking, can you tell? I had to wait for cars, or get out of the way of cars, by altering how or where I walked, at least eight times on my short journey to two shops and home again. I did it naturally and without thinking, but WHY shouldn’t cars adjust to pedestrians?
