There is a tactic predatory people use to dominate insecure ones: doubting.
They doubt you, your abilities, your value, or anything else they notice you are insecure about. That opens your wound and makes you vulnerable, opening up a wide range of possibilities for exploitation.
If you stutter when you talk about your service, they will openly doubt its value, and when you start doubting yourself, they will demand that you lower the price. If you understand your value and are not affected by their doubts, they will back off and may accept your conditions after some time, saying, "They need to think about it."
Women use this tactic very often. Your job as a man is to do your best and reach your potential, which will give you an understanding that is impossible to manipulate.
– You are childish!
– I am the most mature man in the universe.
– You are lazy!
– There is no one in the world who can compete with me. I am efficiency itself.
– Your product isn't the best and isn't even in the top 3.
– It isn't in the top 3 because I am in a higher league. It is minus 1 — the defining example of quality.
And of course, if you are lazy and your product sucks, you will be dumped soon.
Work on yourself and reach your potential.
