Yeah, that was step one: getting a good sear and color to the Braciole. Then onions, garlic, and parsley are sweated in the same pan, San marzano tomatoes and red wine added and brought to a simmer. Then the Braciole is put back in and braised in the oven at 325f for a couple of hours.
