I make as much fun of Internet of Crap devices as anyone, but my washer and drier are wifi enabled and it’s really pretty nice. Whenever they finish a cycle I get an announcement on the Google Homes, which is so much easier than manually checking. Just now the washer sent me a push notification that it was time to run a cleaning cycle. Actually good stuff.
