Someone in my household found the bag of cat treats, tore it open, and scattered treats everywhere. It wasn't me. My spouse is currently out of town. So suspicion falls on the children. None of them are looking or acting guilty. This isn't surprising. None of them are acting any less hungry. This isn't particularly surprising either.

I suspect Artie or Poffie. They have resisted cross-examination. Bossy Boots is innocent, of this I can be reasonably sure. She never jumps up on counters. Flynn and Ivy are less likely but still possible.

I'm going to have to let it go, I suspect. I'm not going to expect any of them to be narcs, and the guilty party is unlikely to crack. Serves me right for leaving a bag full of treats where they could get at it, I guess.
