Stress comes from your perception and your mindset.

You are not afraid of the tiger. You are afraid of what it can do to you. If you are in the zoo, tiger won't stress you. If you are in wilderness, you may shiittt your pants. But if you have a gun, you won't be that scared. But only if the gun is loaded.

In day to day life, you are stressed because you imagine unfavorable outcomes and devastating consequences. Which may never happen. Or even if something bad happens, it will most likely be not as bad as you have imagined it.

Losing money won't kill you. Embarrassment won't destroy your life. Failure will not cut your ears. And rejection won't starve you to death.

It is all a fantasy. The secret to effective stress management is to become the owner of your world in your mind first, and then in your environment. Nothing can destroy you if you are the creator.
