Being a prick isn't helping.
Holding someone in need hostage to your being a prick is a sick way to extract payment.
This sounds like the kind of person who would get mad if you excluded them in the future as a result of their behavior. "You owe me"
I'm willing to live through an awful lot of hell to keep those sort of people from using me to continue their mental illness.
