Can you expand on the layer zero part? What sorts of beliefs do you have in mind? I'm trying to construct this layered system and I guess I'm having a hard time in a modern pluralistic society imagining what beliefs are more widely shared than money. Justice? Safety? Morality, broadly construed?
I think your list of improvements money makes possible is great. Perhaps the point from Principles of Economics about lengthening the production cycle and promoting specialization is distinct enough a point to add.
