4yo never begs for anything, he hates begging or at least asking silently. He's simply noisy. I tried a lot of ways to teach him to say please and thank you in a nice manner.
We've read a fairy tale, where little Adam was yelling at his mother to serve him and she said that he is not her son, her son is nice when he wants something. And you go away, nasty boy! So he asks nicely and she smiles and says this is her little Adam.

I tried, alright?

"MILK! GIMME MIIIILK!!"
"I don't know you, nasty boy, you are yelling at me and I don't like it, where's my Teddy? What would my Teddy do if he wanted milk??"
and he looked at me over the table, eyebrows lowered:
"Well, this. Your Teddy would do this. MIIIIILK!!!"
