My dad, among other things, was an architect and master model railroad modeler, designed kits, made brass masters for kit making, wrote a regular column teaching others, etc. His model shop was *very* cool. I knew he was *deep* in the bottomless pit when he literally cut the walls and roof of the model railroad wing he designed into his house and dragged the end 20 feet further from the house so he could build in the gap and extend it… 🤪
