How much do you think one of those badboys set you back.
I know that they sent a fleet of f-16's to Ukraine there, but the problem is that they don't have any decent pilots to fly them.
They honestly think if they just throw enough toys at them that it is going to affect the outcome.
A more likely explanation is that they are using Ukraine as a dumping ground for a lot fo their old stock and then they can get new contracts from uncle Sam, dolla dolla bill yall.
