I agree. There are several containers I run on the host that have either proven difficult or impossible to host in a VM or LXC.
* Scrutiny - I don't want to have to pass through all the disks to an LXC or VM.
* Calibre - Calibre's database does not like being on network storage and is particular about a bunch of other things.
* Frigate - I tried passing through my Coral USB to a VM and to an LXC. I had nothing but issues and it would not work well.
