thus all the suffering is in vain
literally, as you correctly point out, the purpose of suffering is to steer us away from things that will kill us - but it's all for nothing in the end
or as Nietzsche said "it's not the suffering that is unbearable - but the senselessness of it"
you literally couldn't invent anything stupider than life
now you say why not just kill yourself ? well because the methods available to me are - surprise surprise - even more suffering !
i am waiting for a way to end suffering that doesn't involve even more suffering
what is so hard about this to understand ?
