I don't know what the fuck Von Der Layen is smoking but I don't subscribe anything of what she's saying or doing right now.

Apparently the "old world order is gone" or something, we have to go back to 1945, start rearming, and on top of that "getting away from nuclear energy was a mistake" (Right, is it because AI datacenters demand more energy and clean sources don't yield enough because you never invested enough in it?)

The problem is that nationalism has been on the rise since 10 years ago, fueled by the Russian propaganda in social media, and now people has bought that thought process and we have a huge amount of mentally ill people thinking that their country can be better if they hit harder than the rest, like people did centuries ago.

And now they want to drag us into another spiral of war, making us poor again and exposing us to the risks of war, just because people wants to wave a stupid flag.

Had you deal with that in the first place instead of doing absolutely nothing (other than forcing bottle caps be stuck in the bottle) we wouldn't have these problems.

So apparently now we have to give up a whopping 5% of our GDP to the weapon market so that we can buy weapons (that are certainly NOT going to be used) so that they can claim Europe to be "independent". Or maybe to make "daddy Trump" happy so that they are more likely (not) supporting us in an hypothetical war against Russia. Which by the way, would be at the very least 27 countries against 1. But sure, we need that 5%. For sure.

It was a 3% at first, but people started hopping on the 5% wagon as soon as Trump and Rutte asked for it.

Maybe if instead of sucking Trump's butt they decided to challenge him like Spain's prime minister does, he wouldn't be so interested in attacking Greenland. Just saying.
