I've started to sticking to donations-in-your-name and food gifts for adults, with the occasional book or calendar for folks who'll appreciate them. Teens get cash. Littles get books. They all think I'm a weird fuddy-duddy, but I just can't with trying to figure out the unspoken expectations otherwise.
