But life experience tells us that however much we dream, the reality is that it’s much more likely we never will. Life usually has other plans for us; and by the time that tree is big enough to sit under, we will have moved on, or been washed away in the current somewhere down the road.
But still. That dream, that imagination— lets us live, just for a moment in the future. A future moment we are gifting to someone else.
