Watching acreages turn into solar farm slop is frustrating, but I suppose we are just a few floods/tornados away from reclaiming the land, anyway. Plenty of delicious copper to fertilize the grasslands and deserts. In 1000 years people will marvel at the strange accumulations of copper and aluminum in some of these places, perhaps even conjecture that they were put there purposefully, hopefully even ascribe it to some alien intelligence. I would smile.
