If you're going to Italy, why not consider a yacht trip? It would be a lot of fun. I just took a trip to Italy last month on a used Maxi yacht that I bought from https://www.yachttrading.com/used-yachts-for-sale/brand-maxi/. Even though it was second-hand, it was more than adequate for traveling.
