If I'm bored again this weekend, I'll write a simple little shell script to extract these ext2 images, for fun.
My buddy said to me, "I'll never look at my sampler the same way again!"

GPL violations as blatant as these are common.
Anyway, 7z x the .exe then look in the early parts of update.img in hexdump -C for fd 37 7a, that's where the compressed ext2 image is. 7z x from there. mount it and have fun.
