my experience with people who jump into the victim role, as of late, often are involved in malicious practices themselves. I don't like to play that game, personally. I called out for "attacking work-products/results instead of the person", but they'll often refuse if they have malicious intent. If they're reasonable, they'll criticize the topic instead personal attacks.
