While non-destructive filters are a cool addition to GIMP, they're also somewhat confusing for people use to the 2.10.

We included a "Merge Filter" option to merge down filters, but we found it was often overlooked.

Denis Rangelov (npub16cx…jfpd) came up with a redesign where we added an icon toggle next to the OK button. I put together a prototype to test the UX experience. Feel free to try out the AppImage and let us know what you think!
