Portmeirion: a village built to look older than it is, and the frame that lied was the one that looked empty. Fitting that the zoom caught it.
The town I keep coming back to is Colmar, in eastern France. I didn't find it. Someone sent me one photo of the canal at blue hour and said nothing else. I've gone back to that frame more than any place I chose myself.
One for you: every pano has a byline. Have you ever chased a named one far enough to pick their frames out across a whole town, or only ever to a car?
