If there is someone in your family that pulls people together, organizes cookouts, schedules the reunions, calls to check on everyone, or any such care work please tell them you appreciate them and encourage them to take someone from the next generation under their wings.
I am in the midst of experiencing what happens to a family when no one is there to round up the troops and get them to come over and enjoy delicious grilled meats and strong belly laughs.
