we seem to be getting another cluster of people suffering sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL). it seems to happen in waves now, whose timing is suspiciously similar to covid surges.
(disclaimer: i do not have good evidence that hearing loss is linked to covid, but my suspicion is always high when i see these clusters. time to look into the literature again)
