Had a hilarious big-brain realization while falling asleep (I really don't know where this one came from): Endor must have a very fast rotation, because the Death Star's shield was powered from a single site on the ground, and the Death Star was in Low Earth Orbit. So... rotation period of a couple of hours? How does that influence Ewok physiology, I wonder?
