It is time. My i7 8700k gaming chip cannot cope with late game Factorio. It has served me well - 7 years next month! But it is time.
An AM5 based system is my wish. If a 9950x3d existed I'd have that. As is, I'm going to get a more modest chip and wait for that one to come out and upgrade later.
Recommendations for motherboards? And which AM5 chip as a do-it-all workstation workhorse? Anything will be a huge upgrade so I don't think I want a "gaming focused" current x3d chip.
