The truth is, when bad stuff keeps happening in the USA, and privileged people like you keep shrugging and saying 'not surprised lol,' you are helping normalize them. Your "I am not surprised" words imply every responses from others are "overreacting". That's fucked up because in the end, it's young people and those without your level privilege get screwed over.
